Daniele Corraini, MSc – PhD candidate

Daniele is working on the NC-CHOICE project which aims at developing an advanced cell-free treatment based on extracellular vesicles technology to rejuvenate worn out intervertebral disc.

He previously graduated in Biomedical Sciences MSc at Utrecht University in 2022. During his Master course, he built up his background on degenerated intervertebral disc, during his internship in Laura Creemers group (Orthopaedics, UMC).

His aim consists in developing an innovative and effective regenerative therapeutical strategy to restore degenerated intervertebral disc and ultimately to treat low back pain.
